Freshwater pearls came within various pastel shades of white, black, pink, peach, lavender, plum, purple, & tangerine, based on the nature and severity of mussel.

One mussel could develop as much as L pearls. Piece saltwater pearl-bearing oysters come nucleated within a little organ called the sex gland, freshwater mussels come nucleated in the actual mantle tissue. Both side of this bi-pelecypod may manage as much as Twenty-five nucleations at once.
